All core drills need to be used with a coolant system to reduce friction, flush away residue and keep the matrix of the core drill cool. The water swivel that sells for $250 is made for that purpose. The water swivels is inserted into the chuck of a drill press and coolant is injected through the water swivel traveling down into the core of the core drill to which it is mounted. All core drills come with an adaptor that assures a secure fit to prevent wobble. Most damage to core drills occurs when they are not mounted properly and this system is designed to prevent this kind of problem. (Core drills are made with a diamond matrix of up to 1/4 inch fused to a steel tube. This matrix will allow the cutter to drill hundreds of holes if properly mounted and kept cool.)

Supply the exact size you need. Please be sure to specify the size by providing the in-side (ID) or out-side (OD) dimensions needed for your project and indicate which dimension is most critical i.e. A one-inch core drill with a OD of more than (or less than) one inch.
